Path Construction is a Commercial General Contracting firm with offices in Arlington Heights, IL; Scottsdale, AZ; Dallas, TX; Charlotte, NC; Knoxville, TN; & Tampa, FL, with projects throughout the country. A Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team.
Primary Functions and Duties
- Provide direct support for the delegated functions of Project Executive, Sr. Project Manager, Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Superintendent.
- May be assigned to Field Operations, Engineering, Estimating, or Project Controls.
- Assist in coordinating on-site construction and engineering activities for construction projects.
- Interpret design/drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents.
- Assist Superintendents, Project Managers, Engineers, and Coordinators with project-related technical and logistical functions, including subcontractor and supplier planning/administration and work assignments.
- Interface with on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure construction quality, and support the overall project schedule.
Examples of Daily Duties
- Email documents to customers.
- Email work orders to subcontractors.
- Create documents such as Contracts, Change Orders, Work Authorizations, and Certificates of Completion.
- Review and process pay applications using AIA Documents G702/703.
- Review and track compliance documentation.
- Enter and track new lead information in databases.
- Update job status.
- Assist in answering incoming calls.
- Prepare calendar details for Superintendents or Project Managers.
- Attend daily meetings.
- Print signed work orders and deliver to the Superintendent.
- Ensure all project closeout documents are obtained.
