Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks a Project Coordinator for our Overland Park, KS office to support energy-efficient building projects and collaborate with client and internal teams.

You will coordinate activities on projects of limited size, manage schedules, and help ensure timely, high-quality deliverables in line with AEI policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 1-year experience in a professional office environment is required.]

• General understanding of project management is preferred.
• Experience in the AEC industry is a plus but not required.

In this role, you will be responsible for activities that contribute to timely, high quality and efficient project execution on projects of limited size, scope, and complexity. You will work closely with internal and external (client) project team members to carry out coordination and support duties, in accordance with AEI policies and standards.

Expertise of our most successful Project Coordinator:

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 1-year experience in a professional office environment. Previous experience working in the professional services industry is ideal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• General understanding of project management is preferred.
• Experience within the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry is a plus but not a requirement.
