Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Boston is seeking a Project Manager to lead major building-system projects, develop client relationships, and deliver proposals and designs on time and within budget.

You will guide a multidisciplinary team from concept through occupancy, participate in interviews, provide high-level client service, and help establish long-term partnerships while staying current with market trends.

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Professional engineering registration.
  • 5+ years in project management consulting environment designing building systems or leading design projects across MEP disciplines.
  • Experience working in data center or mission critical facilities preferred.
  • Successful management of large and complex projects for sophisticated clients in healthcare, laboratory, infrastructure, higher education, industrial, or R&D facilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership on projects and with staff.
  • Long history of very satisfied clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead major projects and develop client relationships.
