Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Project Coordinator to help deliver energy-efficient building solutions and support a range of projects with timely, high-quality execution.

You will work closely with internal and external project teams, adhere to AEI policies and standards, and develop coordination and scheduling activities while demonstrating strong written and spoken communication, organization, and client-focused approaches.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
  • 1-year experience in a professional office environment or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • General understanding of project management is preferred.
  • Experience in the AEC industry is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support duties to ensure timely, high quality project execution on small-scale projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and client project teams per AEI policies.
  • Assist in project documentation and scheduling.

As a Project Coordinator in our Overland Park, KS office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Why We Need You:

In this role, you will be responsible for activities that contribute to timely, high quality and efficient project execution on projects of limited size, scope, and complexity. You will work closely with internal and external (client) project team members to carry out coordination and support duties, in accordance with AEI policies and standards.

Expertise of our most successful Project Coordinator:
  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 1-year experience in a professional office environment. Previous experience working in the professional services industry is ideal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • General understanding of project management is preferred.
  • Experience within the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry is a plus but not a requirement.
