Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Boston seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead major client-driven projects.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets while coordinating a diverse team of engineers dedicated to energy-efficient building systems. You will build strong relationships with clients, guide concept development, and deliver high-quality outcomes that meet program needs in healthcare, science, and education facilities.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Professional engineering registration.
• 10+ years in consulting designing building systems or leading design projects across MEP.

As a Project Manager in our Boston office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Here’s Why We Need You

In this role, you will lead major projects, develop client relationships, deliver projects according to client needs and budget, lead concept development of building systems, and guide a team of engineers from project conception though occupancy. Within this position, you will also participate in project interviews, providing high-level client service, establishing long-term partnerships, keeping abreast of market trends, and ensuring resolution of all technical and service issues.

Expertise Of Our Most Successful Project Manager

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Professional engineering registration.
• 10+ years in consulting environment designing building systems or leading design projects across MEP disciplines.
• Successful management of large and complex projects for sophisticated client’s healthcare, laboratory, infrastructure, higher education, industrial, or R&D facilities.
• Demonstrated leadership on projects and with staff.
• Long history of very satisfied clients.
