Job summary

WW Clyde is seeking a Project Controls Manager in Apache Junction, AZ to lead training on project controls, budget development, forecasting, and reporting. You will ensure teams understand and apply the WW Clyde Project Management Guide and standards.

Responsibilities include developing materials, coaching field engineers and managers, and driving adoption of new processes and systems while maintaining strong collaboration with regional leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience training, coaching, or developing others in a professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of project financials: budgets, forecasting, cost reporting, variance analysis.
• Minimum 3 years in project controls, project management, operations support, or related.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, ERP systems, and project management software.
• Ability to learn new platforms quickly and teach them to others.
• Willingness to travel to project sites within the region.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor, and coach field and project personnel on processes, controls, and systems.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing training with live instruction and follow-up.
• Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and process docs.
• Serve as subject matter expert on WW Clyde project controls standards and guides.
• Teach and support project financials: budget development, forecasting, reporting, month-end close.
• Analyze financial reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for coaching.
• Review month-end reporting to identify training needs.
• Develop project control plans for schedule, budget, forecast, and scope.
• Lead the rollout of project reporting tools and processes (progress, budget, forecasts, risk).
• Create data analytics to measure performance and adherence to scope.
• Oversee project setup and closeout with a learning focus.
• Diagnose issues and implement practical process/system solutions.
• Drive adoption of new processes and systems with change management.
• Build strong relationships with field and project teams across regions.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain consistent training and support across regions.
