Job summary

KEITH Engineering Design in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to support scheduling, accounting, and project documentation. You will work with the management team to develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and assist with budgets and cost control.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, plus 0–2 years in project controls or related fields. Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 0-2 years experience in project controls, scheduling, accounting, documentation or related role in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project or Primavera.
• Coordinate with PMs to monitor progress and update schedules.
• Prepare project budgets, labor assumptions, and basic pricing components.
• Track project budgets and financial forecasts; prepare and analyze cost reports.
• Assist in invoice preparation and validation of labor/expense entries.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and closeout documents.
