Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Controls Consultant for the California Region to support our Earth & Environment Team. You will provide proactive project controls, coordination, and reporting to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle, including project setup, monthly reviews, Horizon-related activities, budget controls, forecasting support, and project performance reporting.

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 3-5 years of experience in project controls, project finance, cost management, forecasting, scheduling, or project management support.
• Experience coordinating with Project Managers, finance, accounting, or project financial operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive project controls, coordination, and reporting to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate project setup, monthly project reviews, horizon activities, budget controls, forecast support, and reporting.
• Serve as liaison between Project Managers, PFA, PFO, and leadership to support timely communication and financial visibility.
• Prepare budget status updates, variance explanations, forecast summaries, and escalation items.
