Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Controls Consultant for the California Region to support Earth & Environment projects. You will help with project setup, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting across the project lifecycle, coordinating with PMs, PFAs, and PFOs to maintain financial visibility and drive informed decisions.

The role requires collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while delivering accurate project controls and schedule management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project controls, finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years in project controls, finance, cost management, forecasting, or PM support.
• Experience with project setup, monthly reviews, invoicing, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgets, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive project controls, coordination, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with PM, PFA, PFO, and leadership to ensure financial visibility and timely communication.
• Support Horizon updates, budget controls, forecasts, and variance explanations.
• Assist with project closeout and lessons learned.
