Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Project Controls Section Manager to lead the construction global practice’s project controls team. You will drive staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and earned value practices, guiding complex projects from planning through execution.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking, with the ability to influence change and deliver within budget. This position is based in Missouri with opportunities to collaborate across regional offices.

Qualifikationen

• 5 years related professional experience in design and/or project management required.
• Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Leadership and/or management experience is preferable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to present complex information to all levels.
• Ability to influence, lead, and manage change.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership to the team; direct and coordinate work assignments and review performance to ensure cost-effective utilization of staff.
• Support career development and growth of the team, providing training and learning opportunities.
• Maintain consistent Cost, Schedule and Earned Value practices through the project life cycle.
• Collaborate with Regional Offices and Self Perform Entities; align with Business Line practices.
• Manage staff levels and ensure billable goals are met.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, estimating, cost and objectives.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time with quality and safety focus.
• Lead communication between Engineering GP and Construction section.
• Support programs and initiatives and manage change within the section.
• Achieve financial targets and manage the section budget and expenditures.
• Review workload and monthly financial reports including scheduling, budgeting, cash flow, and status reports.
• Communicate risks, schedule, and costs to stakeholders; manage risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with government, industry, and public entities on project-related matters.
• Collaborate with BD managers and proposal staff to secure work.
