Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Project Manager to lead design/build projects across multiple disciplines from concept through closeout. This role focuses on safety, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management, while coordinating teams and ensuring client satisfaction.

The candidate will manage scopes, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong client relationships, delivering high-quality results and adhering to QA/QC guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience in design engineering, including 3+ years of project management.
• Demonstrated success in project management and client relationship development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present complex information.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of multi-discipline design/build projects from concept to completion.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control costs.
• Serve as primary client contact for coordination, budget, staffing and risk.
• Lead risk reviews, contract negotiations, and submittals/proposals as required.
• Mentor project team and implement project policies, controls, and QA/QC.
