Job summary

Baker Group is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to work with the Industrial Project Team in Ankeny, IA. You will develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and cost forecasting to support successful project execution.

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining WBS, CPM schedules, reports, and ensuring alignment with budgets. Strong MS Office and Primavera P6 experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or the equivalent through experience (typically six years of related progressive work experience).
• Extensive practical experience with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, Project) Primavera ProjectP6.
• Strong working knowledge of scheduling techniques and industry scheduling standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand project controls requirements per project and provide input to project team members on necessary reporting.
• Develop project schedules to align with budgets and cost requirements.
• Create WBS (work breakdown structure) for project and develop CPM schedules with foreman and subcontractors.
• Load project schedule with labor, non-labor units, and cost as required per project.
• Develop cost reports and forecasting information.
