Job summary

Baker Group seeks a Project Controls Specialist to support the Industrial Project Team in developing and maintaining execution plans. You will use project controls to track progress, costs and field labor productivity, and assist in cost forecasting.

Responsibilities include creating schedules in Primavera P6, developing WBS, and producing control reports. Collaboration with project managers and subcontractors is essential to deliver on baseline targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with significant related experience.
• Extensive practical experience with MS Office applications and Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling techniques and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Review project controls requirements per project and provide input to reports.
• Develop reports to track project progress and performance.
• Create and maintain project schedules aligned with budgets and costs.
• Develop a WBS with project managers, foremen, and estimators.
• Create CPM schedules reflecting actual work activities with subcontractors.
• Build resource loading in Primavera and generate owner feedback reports.
• Track baselines, change orders, and schedule updates with explanations.
