Mott MacDonald is seeking to hire an experienced, motivated, independent, and organized Project Controls Manager to support sectors including Aviation, Buildings, Energy, Highways, Bridges, Rail, Tunnels, Water, and Environment. The role will primarily focus on water clients, especially the NYC Department of Environmental Protection, with projects at various stages from planning to construction.

Responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance and support to project teams on WBS structures, budgets, resource forecasts, risk registers, and reporting forms.
- Offering direction and recommendations for resolving project controls issues.
- Monitoring and reporting on project financial data such as spend, budgets, and profitability.
- Facilitating project controls meetings and performing data validation.
- Supporting bid proposals, contract audits, and negotiations.
- Managing subconsultants, including invoice processing and progress tracking.
- Creating and managing change orders, scope, and cost documents, and overseeing change management processes.
- Preparing ad-hoc reports and collaborating with project stakeholders to address issues.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 10 years in engineering/project controls/program management.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.
- Experience with engineering projects and knowledge of project design processes preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and excellent communication skills.
- Experience with project schedules and SharePoint preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, with flexibility.
