Job Description

The Project Manager at EXLService.com, LLC in New York, NY, will develop hypotheses and validate them based on analysis of client data, external research, and communication with client teams. They will present findings to working-level client teams and help develop communications for senior management. The role involves extracting knowledge and insights from data to investigate complex business problems through data preparation, modeling, analysis, and visualization techniques, including predictive analysis, business intelligence, pattern recognition, operational effectiveness, and economic forecasting.

The Project Manager will perform project task management, including communications, deck writing, coordination of sub-team efforts, quality control, facilitating client feedback, and managing feedback loops with offshore/onshore resources. They will utilize analytics methodologies and tools such as SPSS and SAS for data extraction, understanding, variable reduction, Big Data processing, analysis, model development, stabilization, and validation. They should be able to translate highly technical information into clear, concise presentations for team and client use. The role may require working at various sites across the United States, with telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the country.

Job Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field, plus five (5) years of experience in a similar role. Must have 5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics within the Utilities industry, with proficiency in statistical modeling and machine learning for predictive and forecasting models, and SQL for data extraction and transformation. Additionally, 2 years of experience with each of the following is required: Python, R, or SAS; developing and maintaining reports with PowerBI or Tableau; leading project teams; and managing databases on SQL Server, Oracle, or AWS.

Work schedule is 40 hours/week, 9:00 am-5:00 pm, with a salary range of $112,000 to $120,000 annually.
