Job summary

RS&H is seeking a Project Controller II to join our FP&A team. This full-time role offers remote and hybrid options from an RS&H office.

You will support engineers, architects, and consultants by providing project controls, financial analysis, and procedural execution across multiple projects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project controls, strong Excel, ERP experience (Deltek/SharePoint a plus), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably in the AEC industry.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel with formulas, pivot tables and charts.
Experience in Deltek ERP and SharePoint is a plus.
Strong work ethic, self-starter and eagerness to learn.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong organizational, prioritization, and oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

End-to-end project lifecycle management from setup to close-out in collaboration with PM and billing staff.
Assemble scope and fee proposals; verify associate labor rates, check format, and proofreading.
Coordinate contract and subcontract execution and amendments including signatures.
Coordinate client invoicing with PM and billing staff; perform audits on rates.
Lead subconsultant invoice process; liaise with internal teams for accuracy.
Assist client management processes, open/edit opportunities, and report project data to stakeholders.
Monitor and control project lifecycle; facilitate financial reviews for cost improvements.
Facilitate project closeout processes including final subconsultant payments and AR collection.
Mentor project controller team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
