Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Project Controls Professional to support our Americas team in a hybrid role based in the U.S. The position focuses on budgeting, cost forecasting, data analysis, and accrual support across multiple projects.

You will collaborate with project managers and finance leaders to ensure timely, accurate financials and KPIs. Ideal candidates hold a BA/BS in a related field and have 5–8 years in project controls, with strong Excel skills and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Economics, Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• Five to eight years of experience in project controls or project accountant related functions.
• Experience creating monthly project cost reports with timely, accurate information.
• Strong knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for project pricing, contingencies/reserves, WBS structure and project set-up.
• Collect and analyze data and provide monthly KPIs to project stakeholders.
• Assist in project coordination from conception through close-out.
• Support Project Managers with monthly Project Reviews (PRs) and quarterly forecast.
• Provide support to Project Controls staff members as needed.
• Review expenditure details, identify errors and facilitate corrections.
• Perform risk analysis on cost and schedule and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Distribute project financial reports and submit estimates to complete and revenue recognition approvals.
