Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Project Controls Professional to support our Americas team in a hybrid role based at one of our offices in the United States. You will manage cost and schedule elements, develop estimates to complete, review commitments and expenditures, and deliver timely project financials for stakeholders.

The role requires a BS/BA in a relevant field and 5–8 years of project controls experience, with strong Excel and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• 5–8 years of experience in project controls or project accounting functions.
• Experience creating monthly project cost reports with timely, accurate information.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for project pricing, contingencies/reserves, WBS structure and project set-up.
• Collect and analyze data and provide monthly KPIs to project stakeholders.
• Assist in project coordination from conception through close-out.
• Support Project Managers with monthly Project Reviews (PRs).
• Support Project Managers with quarterly forecast.
• Provide support to Project Controls staff as needed.
• Review expenditure details and facilitate corrections.
• Perform cost and schedule risk analysis and recommend mitigations.
• Ensure change management processes are implemented.
• Elevate compliance issues and project risks to leadership and coordinate recovery plans.
• Distribute project financial reports and submit estimates to complete and revenue recognition approvals.
