Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Controls Performance & Monitoring Lead to oversee performance measurement, reporting, and analysis across large capital projects from our Houston, TX base with up to 20% travel to Eunice, NM. The role integrates cost, schedule, risk, and progress data to drive informed decision-making and improved delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in project controls and large capital projects.
• Experience in renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
• Proven ability to influence project and business leaders and drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead project performance monitoring across renewable energy development, construction, and operations.
• Integrate cost, schedule, progress and risk data for a comprehensive view of project health.
• Develop and maintain project controls reporting, dashboards, KPIs and performance metrics.
• Analyze trends, variances, forecasts and risks; provide recommendations to leadership.
• Support forecasting, earned value management, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with teams to identify corrective actions and recovery strategies.
• Ensure compliance with project controls standards and reporting requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of project controls processes and tools.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role where applicable.
