Job summary

American Real Estate Partners (AREP) seeks a Project Controls Specialist to own cost, budget, and schedule reporting for major capital projects. You will ensure data integrity across Oracle Primavera Cloud and Northspyre, guiding financial decisions and risk management.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with 4 days in-office and 1 day remote at HQ in McLean, VA, plus a base salary range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's encouraged.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in project controls, project accounting, or management for major capital projects.
• Experience managing budgets and complex schedules for large industrial/data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex budgets, multi-year forecasts, and draw schedules with project directors.
• Develop proactive financial reports (ETC, EAC) and scenario modeling.
• Perform variance analyses and present to Project Directors.
• Serve as liaison for Finance/Accounting ensuring data integrity across systems.
