Job summary

American Real Estate Partners (AREP) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support data center, residential, and office development across the portfolio. You will assist in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration, reporting to the Director of Data Center Development & Construction.

The role can be based in McLean, VA or Louisville, KY with travel between sites. The position emphasizes attention to detail, collaboration with legal, accounting, leasing, and investors, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of construction PM experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with data center development and PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation (development agreements, leases, permits, drawings, specs, change orders).
• Assist in project schedule management and report progress.
• Schedule meetings, create agendas, update minutes, track deliverables.
• Coordinate budget tasks with accounting, process invoices, review draws, track costs.
• Facilitate and manage contracts and proposals.
• Ensure contracts signed, tracked, and returned to vendors.
• Manage scope, communications, and change control plans.
• Review/Revise job budgets as needed.
• Support the team with data entry and admin tasks.
