Job summary

Stellar Energy Global Infrastructure (SEGI) is seeking a Project Controls Director to lead the integrated controls function for turnkey EPC energy projects in power and industrial sectors. This role combines hands-on execution with leadership of a high-performing team, focusing on scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and earned value across multiple active projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, construction management, business, or related field.
• 12–15+ years of progressive project controls experience on EPC projects in energy/industrial infra.
• Hands-on expertise in planning/scheduling, estimation, and cost control on large EPC projects.
• Expert-level Primavera P6 proficiency for complex EPC projects.
• Strong Earned Value Management skills with forecasting and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continually improve project controls tools, processes, and reporting.
• Lead and grow a project controls team, mentoring and guiding field and operational execution.
• Develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules for multiple live projects, ensuring integrity and resource loading.
• Own full project controls lifecycle: baselines, progress measurement, ES, cash-flow, risk, and changes.
• Support proposals and bid reviews with schedule and cost input; ensure data integrity with cross-functional teams.
• Leverage AI and BI tools to drive dashboards and reporting; integrate with SAP S/4HANA, Procore, and other systems.
