Job summary

Stellar Energy Global Infrastructure (SEGI) seeks a Senior/Lead Estimator to own total project cost estimates for proposals. The Estimator works with Business Developers and Technical Developers to compile accurate, defensible estimates, including equipment costs, labor, installation, and contingencies.

The role requires five+ years of cost estimating experience in power generation or industrial projects, expert Excel skills, and the ability to present and defend estimates to executive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Minimum of five (5) years of cost estimating experience on power generation, energy, industrial, or similar capital projects.
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel with complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data validation.
Demonstrated executive presence and ability to present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Own each estimate end to end, including assumptions, inclusions, exclusions and contingency.
Solicit and level vendor quotations to ensure complete and comparable scope.
Develop labor costs with internal teams and integrate installation costs.
Present estimates to executive leadership with clear cost drivers and risk analysis.
