Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Analyst III to join our Waterloo, Iowa team supporting a diverse portfolio of projects across Aviation, Transportation, and Water. This role will manage project financial information, forecasting, analyzing performance, and identifying trends and risks.

The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple financial, project management, scheduling, and reporting platforms.

Qualifications

• BA/BS+4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• 8 years of experience in project controls, project accounting, financial management, scheduling, or related role.
• Experience supporting engineering, construction, infrastructure, or other professional services projects.
• Proficiency with project controls principles, including WBS, baselines, forecasting, and earned value.

Responsibilities

• Manage project controls and financial activities from setup through closeout, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, reporting and analysis.
• Establish and maintain budgets, WBS, cost baselines, and project controls systems.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, revenues, profitability, and cash flow; identify trends and risks.
• Develop monthly forecasts, including EAC, labor hours, costs and revenue.
• Coordinate and review monthly billing, contract terms, rates, expenses, and progress.
