AECOM is seeking a motivated Project Controls Analyst I to join our San Diego team. You will support cost tracking, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting for complex capital projects, gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and methodologies.

Working with experienced professionals, you will develop skills in earned value management, risk analysis, cost engineering, and change management, with clear opportunities for advancement within project controls and program management.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Interest in project controls, scheduling, cost management, and financial reporting.
• Experience with project controls software is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support project managers and senior project controls staff with cost forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, and risk analysis.
• Maintain project schedules in Primavera P6 and cost data in Unifier or similar systems.
• Analyze financial data, run reports, review expenditures, and ensure proper cost coding.
• Support change management and earned value management activities.
• Track commitments, purchase orders, invoices, and contract expenditures.
• Assist with financial closeout activities and performance reporting.
