Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator in Engineering Services to support quote preparation, scheduling, resource tracking, and project finance.

You will liaise with customer project managers, procurement, legal, and engineering teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to understand technical deliverables within an engineering services context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a project controller or similar role.
• Process driven with the ability to understand technical deliverables.
• High attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Insist on quality work and on-time deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication including on technical subjects.
• Experience with Deltek Vision is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting project resource workload and tracking deliverables.
• Support development and negotiation of proposals and project cost estimates.
• Order entry on new projects including entering schedules and resources.
• Issue Purchase Orders and track deliveries of equipment.
• Ensure invoices are issued per project billing schedules.
• Reviewing project deadlines and finances.
• Data analysis and metrics tracking.
