Job summary

SEL is seeking a Project Coordinator in Engineering Services to support the Project Management team from quoting through project close out. You will coordinate schedules, resources, and cost estimates, interfacing with customers, procurement, legal, and engineering to ensure on-time delivery of technical deliverables.

The role emphasizes accuracy, process discipline, and the ability to understand engineering deliverables within a services context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a project controller or similar role.
• Process driven with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to understand technical deliverables in an engineering services organization.
• High attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Insist on quality work and on-time deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication including on technical subjects.
• Enjoy problem solving and driving improvements.
• Open minded with a desire to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting project resource workload and tracking deliverables.
• Support development and negotiation of proposals and project cost estimates.
• Order entry on new projects including entering schedules and resources.
• Issue Purchase Orders and track deliveries of equipment.
• Ensure invoices are issued per project billing schedules.
• Reviewing project deadlines and finances.
• Data analysis and metrics tracking.
• Engage with customer project managers, procurement, legal, and engineering team members.
