Estates Management Office at CUHK is seeking a Project Co-ordinator II (Accounting) to support budget consolidation, project payments, and budget maintenance. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Financial Management, relevant experience, and fluency in English and Chinese.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is essential. The appointee will liaise with the University Finance Office and perform other duties as assigned.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting the Office’s administration in consolidating, revising, and controlling budgets; (b) handling project payments and accounts; (c) maintaining project budgets and preparing periodic financial statements; (d) liaising with the University’s Finance Office in accounting matters; and (e) performing any other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accountancy, Financial Management, or related disciplines; (ii) relevant post-qualification work experience; (iii) a good command of English and Chinese; (iv) good interpersonal and analytical skills; and (v) proficiency in computer applications, such as MS Excel and Word, and Chinese word-processing.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
