EKI Environment & Water, Inc. is seeking a Billing Specialist to provide accounting support across the company, reporting to the Senior Accountant.

This role involves setting up and maintaining projects in Deltek Ajera, generating invoices (125–175 per month), and preparing billing reports for Project Managers. You will ensure contracts and client back-up are accurate, respond promptly to clients, monitor WIP with Project Managers, and support travel as needed.

Formación

• Minimum of two (2) years of billing experience for consulting business.
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel pivot tables, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Deltek Ajera and Deltek Vantagepoint preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Build relationships with Project Managers through the life cycle of the project.
• Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Ajera per contract requirements.
• Generate 125 – 175 invoices per month.
• Prepare and distribute monthly billing reports to Project Managers.
• Process labor and expense transfers; ensure compliance with contracts.
• Submit accurate invoice packages with client-backup on time.
• Respond to internal and external clients promptly and professionally.
• Follow-up with clients on receipt and payment status; resolve issues.
• Monitor WIP and discuss aged WIP with Project Manager; address issues.
