Job summary

Garver is seeking a Finance Billing Specialist to join our Frisco, Texas team. The role supports Project Managers and the Finance Team, handling project setup, budgets, and accurate ERP records, and generating monthly billing packets for PM review.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of billing or accounting experience, proficiency in Excel and Word, and strong communication skills. This position offers growth within Garver’s Finance Team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of billing or accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong mathematical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Problem solver and highly driven.
• Proven experience in utilizing ERP systems or specialized billing software.

Responsibilities

• Working directly with Project Managers to set up projects and budgets according to contract specifications.
• Maintaining accurate records within ERP for project details, budgets, and invoices.
• Generation of monthly billing packets for Project Manager review.
• Client billing.
• Maintain documentation of client related procedures, deadlines, and other guidelines.
• Maintain documentation of Project Manager preferences related to billing.
• Efficient management and recordkeeping of monthly project reports.
• Provide financial reporting upon Project Managers request.
• Pro-actively monitor AR and WIP aging and address them with assigned Project Managers.
• Collaborating with other Garver technical leaders or Finance staff for special projects as needed.
• Aiding other Finance Team members as requested.
• All other related duties as assigned.
