Job summary

Garver is seeking a Finance Billing Specialist in Wichita, Kansas to join our Finance Team. This role will partner with Project Managers to set up projects and budgets per contract, maintain ERP records, and generate monthly billing packets for review.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of billing or accounting experience, strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills, and proven numeric, written, and verbal communication abilities.

Qualifications

Finance Billing Specialist

Garver is seeking a professional, motivated individual to join our Finance Team. This position will offer an array of responsibilities while supporting Garver's Project Managers and the Finance Team. Responsibilities of this Finance Billing Specialist will include, but are not limited to:

• Working directly with Project Managers to set up projects and budgets according to contract specifications
• Maintaining accurate records within ERP for project details, budgets, and invoices
• Generation of monthly billing packets for Project Manager review
• Client billing
• Maintain documentation of client related procedures, deadlines, and other guidelines
• Maintain documentation of Project Manager preferences related to billing
• Efficient management and recordkeeping of monthly project reports
• Provide financial reporting upon Project Managers request
• Pro-actively monitor AR and WIP aging and address them with assigned Project Managers
• Collaborating with other Garver technical leaders or Finance staff for special projects as needed
• Aiding other Finance Team members as requested
• All other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of billing or accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong mathematical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Problem solver and highly driven
• Proven experience in utilizing ERP systems or specialized billing software
