Ready Window Sales and Service in Florida is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer billing and collections for construction projects. You will work with project managers, sales, and accounting to ensure accurate invoices, timely payments, and resolution of outstanding balances.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in accounts receivable or collections, experience with progress billing and retainage, strong Excel skills, and professional communication abilities to discuss

Qualifications

• 2+ years in accounts receivable, billing, or collections; construction experience preferred.
• Experience with progress billing and retainage preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Professional communication skills with customers.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and send customer invoices and progress billings.
• Track accounts receivable balances, due dates, retainage, and past-due accounts.
• Contact customers to follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing questions.
• Record and apply customer payments to invoices and projects.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate short payments or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with project managers to confirm completed work and billing amounts.
• Maintain billing documents including purchase orders, lien waivers, and notices when applicable.
• Prepare aging reports and provide updates on collection activity to management.
• Support month-end close and maintain organized customer records.
