Job summary

Atterro's Toledo, OH client is seeking a Project Assistant for direct-hire employment. The role supports daily operations, coordinates administrative tasks, and maintains project records in a fast-paced office setting.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or additional education in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain documentation and trackers for multiple projects.
  • Create, update, and organize project files, inventory records, material status reports, and traceability documentation.
  • Prepare and verify labels, packing lists, shipping documents, and customer submissions.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in Excel and company systems.
  • Coordinate samples, materials, prototypes, and shipments by confirming status, quantities, and documentation.
  • Prepare meeting materials, record action items, and follow up on deadlines and outstanding tasks.
  • Assist with KPI reporting, project status updates, and management reports.
  • Communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to support project execution and resolve documentation issues.

Pay Rate: $21.60 per hour
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; overtime as needed

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in administrative support, project coordination, manufacturing, logistics, inventory control, shipping, or data entry preferred.
  • Automotive manufacturing, production launch, warehouse, materials management, or supplier experience is a plus.
  • Experience maintaining inventory records, traceability documentation, labels, packing lists, and shipping paperwork preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, formatting, and report tracking, strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and organization.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Frequent use of computers, keyboards, phones, and other office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers.
  • Occasional walking, standing, and participation in warehouse, shipping, or production-floor activities.
  • Ability to work overtime and travel occasionally as business needs require.
