Job summary

  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate professionally across customers and multiple internal departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, including building and improving tracking formats and reporting tools.
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities, work independently, exercise sound judgment, and thrive in a fast-paced automotive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate assigned projects from kickoff through closure, maintaining schedules, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
  • Serve as the routine customer contact, leading meetings and documenting decisions, actions, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales, and support supplier and material tracking.
  • Identify and escape risks, maintain issue logs, and prepare status updates, KPI inputs, and reporting materials.

Now hiring for a Project Coordinator (Direct Hire)
Location: Toledo, OH
Salary: $60,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Job Duties
  • Coordinate assigned projects from kickoff through closure, maintaining schedules, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
  • Serve as the routine customer contact, leading meetings and documenting decisions, actions, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales, and support supplier and material tracking.

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
Experience Requirements
  • Experience in project coordination, manufacturing, automotive production, or new-product launch preferred; strong entry-level candidates are also considered.
  • Automotive manufacturing, Tier 1/Tier 2 supplier, or production-transfer experience is a plus, along with experience tracking schedules, costs, risks, materials, inventory, or supplier deliverables.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate professionally across customers and multiple internal departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, including building and improving tracking formats and reporting tools.
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities, work independently, exercise sound judgment, and thrive in a fast-paced automotive team environment.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to perform extended periods of computer work to manage schedules, documentation, and reporting.
  • Ability to participate in production-floor activities as needed to support project coordination.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to customer, supplier, or company locations.
  • Regular on-site presence in Toledo, Ohio required, with standard weekday hours and occasional overtime.
