LaBella Associates is hiring a Project Architect for our Richmond, VA office. You will work with large project teams, coordinate with subconsultants, and support the Project Manager in client meetings and construction administration.

The ideal candidate has 6-10+ years of experience, VA building code knowledge, and strong design/document skills. We seek self-motivated leaders who can communicate effectively, coordinate multi-discipline efforts, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Registered Architect in the state of Virginia (desirable)
• 6-10+ years of experience
• Experience with VA DGS or government agencies (desirable)
• Knowledge of Virginia State building codes
• Strong design and construction document skills
• Excellent graphic presentation skills
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with large project teams including outside subconsultants to meet project goals.
• Delegate tasks to Project Technician and coordinate with all disciplines.
• Assist Project Manager with client meetings, design team meetings, and construction administration.
• Lead with minimal guidance and maintain a proactive, collaborative work environment.
