Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team in Denver seeks a Project Architect to lead design development, document production, and client coordination. You will work across project phases from inception to close-out, ensuring budget, schedule, and quality control.

Proficient in BIM and code interpretation, you will contribute to business development efforts. This role requires a Master’s in Architecture, licensure, and likely 7+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Architecture or bachelor’s degree in support of licensure criteria required.
• Registered Architect.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience preferred.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, organization, and directing of the work throughout the life cycle of the project.
• Engages in development of a design through sketches, models, diagrams, and massing studies.
• Uses BIM technologies in development of 3D models of buildings and components.
• Participates in design critiques and pin-ups.
• Interprets and applies building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Prepares and revises documentation across architectural phases.
• Leads project coordination and meetings with team, consultants, owner, and contractor.
• Participates in client project requirements meetings and value analysis.
