Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced architect to lead design development on multiple projects and mentor junior staff. You will develop designs using sketches, BIM models, and construction documents, ensuring code compliance and high-quality deliverables.

The role requires strong communication, coordination across teams, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally. RA licensure is required for consideration, with LEED credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 5 to 7 years of similar experience.
• Registered Architect licensure required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects of varied complexity with design development.
• Develop design through sketches, modeling, diagrams, and massing studies.
• Use BIM to develop project models and construction documents.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams, owners, and contractors.
• Review drawings, respond to RFIs, and prepare site observation reports.
