Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned professional to lead Building Technology Solutions delivery, bridging construction project management with software adoption. The role drives field activities, coordinates key accounts, and ensures successful implementation across nationwide sites.

Candidate should bring 2–3 years PM experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and familiarity with architectural specs and relevant codes. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• College/University degree, or minimum high school/GED diploma with commensurate work experience.
• 2–3 years of industry-related construction project management experience preferred.
• Architectural/construction industry experience including door and hardware specifications is a plus.
• Familiarity with building codes related to fire/life safety and accessibility.

Job description

• Lead delivery of Building Technology Solutions professional services and software solutions
• Manage projects from planning and construction through facility operations
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers
• Coordinate field service activities and support key accounts
• Ensure successful implementation and adoption of software solutions
• Facilitate related project product sales
• Collaborate with customers, field technicians, sales teams, channel partners, and software developers
• Drive project execution, software adoption, account growth, and customer satisfaction
• Identify new business development opportunities
• Manage contracts and customer relationships
• Manage professional services projects, field activities, and site-based consulting engagements
• Perform and oversee field inspections, surveys, audits, inventory programs, and consulting engagements
• Lead fire, smoke, egress, and door opening assessments; document findings and provide remediation recommendations
• Coordinate field resources for nationwide project delivery
• Lead key account relationships, contract administration, invoicing, and customer success initiatives
• Coordinate and support field technicians, sales teams, and external project stakeholders
• Recruit, train, manage, and oversee field resources
• Deliver training, onboarding, and ongoing software support
• Provide customer insights for software enhancements, process improvements, and service innovation
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to meet multiple project deadlines and manage time effectively
• On-time activity reporting
• Ability to work in the field at construction sites and end-user facilities
• Ability to travel upon request; 50–75% travel ability required
• Reasonable proximity to a major airport
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs
• College/University degree, or minimum high school/GED diploma with commensurate work experience
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• 2–3 years of industry-related construction project management experience preferred
• Architectural and construction industry-related experience, including door and hardware applications and specifications, plus software training and support, is a plus
• Above-average working knowledge of Autodesk Revit Architecture software preferred
• Familiarity with construction management software applications is a plus
