Job summary

Jobtailor in Sacramento, CA seeks an experienced licensed architect to oversee multiple commercial architecture projects from planning through execution, coordinating clients, teams, budgets, and schedules. Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years technical expertise in commercial architecture is required.
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Licensed or registered architect.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, serving as the primary client contact.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage budgets, staffing and project set-up with contractors, sub-contractors and vendors.
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple small to medium projects, set priorities and maintain schedules.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, MS Project, Ajera and project management software.
  • Construction Management skills.
  • Working knowledge of building codes and CBC/ADA Accessibility requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Detailing skills.
  • Experience providing mentorship for junior staff.
  • Experience with local authorities having jurisdiction.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Building Design Suite/Revit and newer, along with MS Office Suite.
  • Participation in the preparation of proposals, including interviews and presentations.
  • Unrestricted right to work in the United States.
