Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Project Accountant in Jacksonville to partner with operations, engineering and project management. You will manage project budgets, WIP cycles, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition under US GAAP.

Responsibilities include monthly closings, budget recasting, tracking POs, and cross-functional analysis using JD Edwards, Oracle and analytics tools. A Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and 3+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Progress toward CPA/CMA/MBA or relevant certification highly desired.
Minimum 3 years of progressive project accounting, construction accounting, or cost accounting experience.

Responsibilities

Execute Monthly & Quarterly Closings for project accounting team.
Lead Budget Recasting & Project Costing with JD Edwards.
Perform variance analysis and cross-functional integration across Finance, Operations, and Project Management.
Support internal/external audits with focus on Percentage of Completion controls.
