Job summary

Stellar Energy Americas seeks a Project Accountant in Jacksonville, FL to ensure the integrity of accounting information, record and reconcile transactions, and provide financial reports to management. This role emphasizes job cost, project accounting, and collaboration with project managers and auditors.

Office-based with standard hours, occasional overtime may be required. The position reports to the Finance Director and requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency with MS Word/Excel

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with job cost and project accounting preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and reports for all job cost and project accounting activities.
• Close out projects and project accounts upon project completion.
• Prepare general ledger entries and reconcile accounts.
• Reconcile WIP schedule to general ledger and assist auditors.
• Ensure daily financial transactions are correct (Purchasing, AR Billing, Payroll).
