Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in project accounting or related field.
• BS degree in Business or Engineering, is a plus.
• Knowledge of project contracts and change order documents.
• Familiarity or experience with financial project tasks, including budget control, invoicing, or creating sales orders within ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Experience with NetSuite and Box.com a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate with Project Managers regarding contract documents, scope changes, contract amendments, approvals, financial status, and any additional services related to Projects.
• Generate and interpret financial records and statements for management and project managers – i.e. project profitability, opportunities for additional billings, remaining backlog available for projects.
• Respond to client requests and interface with clients to investigate project variances, all project expenses not billed to customers, and unpaid contract billings.
• Create and close out opportunities and projects in NetSuite and Box.com as appropriate.
• Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders (primarily in Box.com).
• Create, review and/or approve: subcontractor invoices related to projects, all project-related billings to customers, write-off of any project-related billings that cannot be billed to or collected from customers.
• Create customer invoicing.
• Compile information for internal and external auditors, as required.
