Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Project Accountant to support the financial health of multiple projects in Phoenix, AZ. You will ensure accurate accounting, timely processing, and adherence to procedures, partnering with project teams to drive reliable financial information.

The role requires 2–4 years in project accounting or related field, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant area, and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
2–4 years of project accounting or financial management experience preferred.
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

Responsibilities

Process project-related owner invoices and payments to ensure timely, accurate transactions.
Maintain detailed project financial records including budgets, costs and billings.
Prepare routine financial reports and assist with variance analysis.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve accounting questions and discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures in all financial activities.
Support month-end and year-end close activities as required.
