Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization to identify a Project Accountant to join its accounting team in Pleasanton. This role supports project operations and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with project teams, monitor costs and budgets, assist with forecasting, and produce financial analyses for leadership. Deltek Costpoint experience and advanced Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in Project or Job Cost Accounting.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a financial partner to project teams across the project lifecycle.
• Review project costs, budgets, and financial performance for accuracy.
• Collaborate with project managers to assess profitability and financial outcomes.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning for active projects.
• Support client billing, revenue tracking, and contract compliance.
• Generate financial reports and analyses for leadership and operations.
