Job summary

3 Bridge Networks is seeking a hands-on Project Accountant to support its growing Bay Area accounting team. The role mixes project costing with day-to-day financial operations and close collaboration with project managers.

You will own job costing, track costs across active projects, manage accounts payable, and help ensure timely, accurate invoicing and reporting as the company scales. This is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants broad exposure to both project

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with job costing or project accounting.
• Strong accounts payable experience.
• Experience in construction, mechanical contracting, engineering, architecture, specialty contracting, or another project-based industry.
• Comfortable working with accounting and project management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work across accounting and operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage job costing and project accounting across multiple active projects
• Track project costs, budgets, cost codes, and related financial activity
• Own day-to-day accounts payable, including reviewing, coding, and processing vendor invoices
• Match invoices to the correct projects, cost codes, and GL accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Manage vendor-related accounting issues and help ensure payments are processed accurately and on time
• Reconcile project costs and research variances
• Work closely with project managers and operations teams on project spending and cost questions
• Assist with month-end close, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate project, vendor, and accounting records
• Help improve accounting and job-costing processes as the company continues to scale
