LHH is seeking a Project Accountant to partner with project managers and operations leaders on project financial performance, revenue recognition, and ERP initiatives. This newly created, high-visibility role offers strong career growth potential and direct exposure to senior leadership.

You will manage project accounting, support POC revenue recognition, assist with month-end close, and contribute to ERP implementation and process improvements, with a clear path into broader accounting

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in project accounting, job costing, cost accounting, construction, integration, engineering, or project-based environments.
• Strong understanding of percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and WIP accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong technical aptitude.
• ERP experience required; Epicor and ERP implementation experience highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with finance & operational teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting, job costing, budget-to-actual analysis, and margin reporting.
• Support percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue recognition and WIP accounting.
• Partner with project managers to monitor project financial health and resolve variances.
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Support ERP implementation, system testing, data migration, and process improvements.
• Prepare project forecasts, cost-at-completion analysis, and management reporting.
