Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Permanent Project Accountant to join our growing construction team in South Florida. You will manage financial aspects of our luxury home building projects from inception to completion, collaborating with project managers, finance teams, and senior management to ensure transparency and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project accounting experience, strong AP/AR, cost accounting, and financial analysis skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project accounting experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong proficiency in AP/AR, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Accountant to join our rapidly growing construction team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the financial management of our construction projects, from inception to completion. 1. Overseeing all financial aspects of our construction projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
5. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. High level of integrity, with a commitment to upholding company values and ethical standards.
