Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking a Project Accountant to support budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking for assigned projects. This role partners with project managers and cross-functional teams to deliver timely financial insights and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

You will analyze project performance, prepare reports, and oversee billing and reconciliations, contributing to informed decision-making and project success across diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in project accounting or related financial role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Serve as financial liaison for assigned projects with accurate reporting.
• Oversee project accounting including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking costs.
• Prepare detailed financial reports on project performance per accounting standards.
• Manage project billing and reconciliations.
• Analyze costs, identify variances, and explain them to stakeholders.
• Support operational decision-making with financial data.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams.
