Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking a Controller to lead day-to-day accounting, ensure accurate financial reporting, and partner with executives on planning and growth.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and KPI analysis while upholding strong internal controls and compliance. You will mentor the accounting team and collaborate with operational leaders to improve profitability and project performance across our Colorado office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• CPA is a plus and leadership experience with accounting teams is required.
• Construction or electrical contracting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Accounting Department.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Develop and interpret accounting information to evaluate performance.
• Establish and maintain internal controls for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide reports and insights to executive leadership.
