Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) seeks a Project Controller to manage the financial aspects of assigned construction projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while adhering to company policies.

The role partners with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to monitor budgets, analyze performance, and deliver actionable insights to drive project success. Travel to construction sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the financial liaison for assigned projects, supporting Project Management with accurate and timely reporting.
• Oversee project accounting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking actual costs against budgets.
• Prepare detailed financial reports on project performance in alignment with accounting standards.
• Manage project-related billing processes and perform reconciliations.
• Analyze project costs, identify variances, and provide explanations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations teams to support project execution and decision-making.
• Identify financial risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
